What to confirm for selection
- Provide minimum, normal and maximum flow with pressure before and after the valve.
- Confirm the control signal, fail position and available air supply or electrical power.
- Identify piping constraints, required shut-off performance and project documentation.
For a replacement, include the existing tag, nameplate and data sheet. Matching the pipe diameter alone does not establish the required flow capacity. A new configuration is reviewed against the actual process data.
